Who we are

Motaclan are the experts in the sourcing, manufacture and distribution of classic car parts for the trade and consumer. With our roots deeply planted in the British classic car community, we have supplied original equipment classic British car parts to the trade for almost 40 years under the names Leacy Classics and the iconic mini brand Wood and Pickett. Leacy Group acquired MG Rover parts supplier XPart in 2017 and Racing Green’s TVR assets in 2022 and so Motaclan was born, bringing these companies together under one name.

What we do

The Motaclan family of specialist businesses provide high quality products which are vital to the continual roadworthiness of classic cars. We take care and pride in playing our part in maintaining the classic motoring experience, serving the Classic Car Community and keeping our much-loved British Classics on the road. Manufacturing many of the high-quality spares ourselves using original tooling acquired over four decades of trading, our purpose-built distribution centre in Birmingham holds stock of over 500,000 lines and supplies the needs of customers both large and small from all over the world.

Leacy Classics

Motaclan’s Traditional Classics division, with almost 40 years of experience, Leacy Classics are a British sports car parts, spares and accessories specialist for MGA, MGB, MGC, MGBGT, MG Midget, MG T-Series, Austin Healey, Triumph TR2, TR3, TR4, TR5, TR6, TR7, TR8 and TR250, Triumph Spitfire, Triumph Stag, Triumph GT6, Triumph Dolomite, Jaguar E-Type (XKE) & XJ12, Morris Minor, Classic Mini and London Taxis.

XPART Classic Car Parts Suppliers

Motaclan’s Modern Classics division XPart was born out of the MG Rover car company and is still today the continuous driving force for worldwide sourcing and supply of MG Rover Original Equipment Parts. XPart distributes parts through its worldwide network of Parts Distributors. XPart have also created a wide network of XPart AutoService centres across the UK, and Europe, recognising the need for MG, Rover and Rover Mini ongoing quality service
and repair at affordable prices.

Wood & Pickett

Motaclan’s Bespoke Classics division is Wood and Pickett. Founded by craftsmen Bill Wood and Les Pickett in 1947, identified in the 60’s a niche (bespoke coach built minis) that not only provided a business lifeline, but that etched its name in history. From that point, the company would be famously associated with the Issigonis classic. Although it diversified to best suit customers’ tastes, adapting Rolls Royce, Range Rovers and Mercedes, for example, The Margrave special edition Mini provided the springboard for the image associated with Wood & Pickett today.
