Motaclan’s Modern Classics division XPart was born out of the MG Rover car company and is still today the continuous driving force for worldwide sourcing and supply of MG Rover Original Equipment Parts. XPart distributes parts through its worldwide network of Parts Distributors. XPart have also created a wide network of XPart AutoService centres across the UK, and Europe, recognising the need for MG, Rover and Rover Mini ongoing quality service
and repair at affordable prices.
Motaclan’s Bespoke Classics division is Wood and Pickett. Founded by craftsmen Bill Wood and Les Pickett in 1947, identified in the 60’s a niche (bespoke coach built minis) that not only provided a business lifeline, but that etched its name in history. From that point, the company would be famously associated with the Issigonis classic. Although it diversified to best suit customers’ tastes, adapting Rolls Royce, Range Rovers and Mercedes, for example, The Margrave special edition Mini provided the springboard for the image associated with Wood & Pickett today.
