As a global Classic Car parts company, our focus is to get parts to our customers as quickly and economically as possible.

Below is a guide to the standard postal and APC/FedEx/TNT Delivery terms:

Delivery Guide for the UK

Our standard delivery in the UK for smaller items is Royal Mail First Class. For items over 2kg we use APC/FedEx next day.

Our aim is to deliver parts to our customers as soon as possible but please be advised that even with these services this can take up to 3 working days.

This guide does not include areas designated as ‘Highlands and Islands’…These include postcodes: AB, BT, GY, HS, IV, JE, IM, KW, PA, PH, TD, ZE. We can ship to these postcodes but we may have to make an additional charge as our carrier charges a premium for delivering to these areas. Please contact us for details.

Overseas Delivery Guide

Please be aware that import duties and taxes may apply upon receipt of orders delivered outside of the UK.

These are set by the Customs Authority of the destination country and are beyond our control. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay them.

Where volumetric weights dictate (i.e. large parts, i.e. windscreens, panels, etc.) we reserve the right to contact customer to advise of a true delivery cost.

Typical delivery times outside of the UK are between 5 and 21 days but are subject to customs clearance and local delivery facilities.

Our standard Delivery outside the UK for smaller items is Royal Mail. For items over 2kg we use FedEx Express.

VAT & Custom Duties

All parts on our website are shown with their prices exclusive and inclusive of UK VAT (currently 20%).

UK VAT will be automatically added to all UK orders.

UK VAT will not be added to orders being shipped outside the UK.

Motaclan Ltd cannot advise on, or be responsible for, any Customs or Import Duties or Taxes that are subsequently imposed on your order once it arrives in your country. Please confirm what extra charges your order is likely to incur before confirming the order with us.

Our database knows the weight of every part listed on our website, so in the majority of cases automatic delivery options can be chosen at the checkout. Unfortunately, penalties will be imposed by all dlivery companies if a parcel is particularly large in size compared to its weight, this is commonly known as “voluming out”. This means that sometimes we are unable to accurately quote delivery for orders until we have packed the parcel and confirmed the delivery cost.

Please be aware that import duties and taxes may apply in countries outside of the United Kingdom. All duties and taxes are set by the Customs Authority of the destination country, over which we have no control. Please note that it will be the responsibility of the customer to pay all duties and taxes.
