    Cylinder head

    Fully refurbished bare Speed 6 cylinder head ready for assembly. These cylinder heads are refurbished for TVR Parts by Ultimate Performance, specialists in ultra high quality performance cylinder head machining and are of the highest quality. Each head is carefully selected prior to the refurbishing process. The head is first cleaned, degreased and vapour blasted to remove all dirt and contaminants. The seats and guides are removed and new high quality guides fitted. The seats are replaced with high quality nickel alloy seats suitable for hard lives on current fuels and the seats are CNC 3 angle cut to the correct depths to give accurate shimming. The 3 main gasket faces, the fire face, inlet and exhaust manifold faces are skimmed to ensure accuracy and perfect sealing. The combustion chambers are all CNC machined to ensure accurately equalised chamber volumes, critical to a quality engine rebuild.Inlet and exhaust ports are then hand ported and polished. Finally the head is pressure tested before being signed off. For further information and specifications on individual components follow the links below in the related parts. Note this part is exchange only and requires a serviceable Speed 6 head (complete with caps) to be supplied to us. Further modifications are available to enhance performance including gas flowing and additional oil feed, please contact us to discuss your requirements. The parts kit for the additional oil feed to the rear of the head is RG 074. This refurbished original Speed 6 head is better than original, with better quality components, machined to a higher standard, with great accuracy. TVR Parts has invested in the relevant tooling and CNC programs to ensure a repeatable high quality product. If you would prefer your own cylinder head machined to these standards this can also be achieved although with the relevant timescales!

    Delivery Guide for the UK

    Our standard delivery in the UK for smaller items is Royal Mail First Class. For items over 2kg we use APC/FedEx next day.

    Our aim is to deliver parts to our customers as soon as possible but please be advised that even with these services this can take up to 3 working days.

    This guide does not include areas designated as ‘Highlands and Islands’…These include postcodes: AB, BT, GY, HS, IV, JE, IM, KW, PA, PH, TD, ZE.     Overseas Delivery Guide

    Please be aware that import duties and taxes may apply upon receipt of orders delivered outside of the UK.

    These are set by the Customs Authority of the destination country and are beyond our control. It is the customer’s responsibility to pay them.

    Where volumetric weights dictate (i.e. large parts, i.e. windscreens, panels, etc.) we reserve the right to contact customer to advise of a true delivery cost.

    Typical delivery times outside of the UK are between 5 and 21 days but are subject to customs clearance and local delivery facilities.

    Our standard Delivery outside the UK for smaller items is Royal Mail. For items over 2kg we use FedEx Express.

    All parts on our website are shown with their prices exclusive and inclusive of UK VAT (currently 20%).

    UK VAT will be automatically added to all UK orders.

    UK VAT will not be added to orders being shipped outside the UK.

    Our database knows the weight of every part listed on our website, so in the majority of cases automatic delivery options can be chosen at the checkout. Unfortunately, penalties will be imposed by all dlivery companies if a parcel is particularly large in size compared to its weight, this is commonly known as “voluming out”. This means that sometimes we are unable to accurately quote delivery for orders until we have packed the parcel and confirmed the delivery cost.

    Please be aware that import duties and taxes may apply in countries outside of the United Kingdom. All duties and taxes are set by the Customs Authority of the destination country, over which we have no control. Please note that it will be the responsibility of the customer to pay all duties and taxes.
