    Idle stepper motor

    Idle stepper motor for Rover V8 engined TVRs. This is the idle stepper motor or idle control valve for the TVR Chimaera ,TVR Griffith and V8S. This valve takes its control signal from the engine management system and moderates the engine idling speed depending on different conditions or loads. During the warm up cycle it allows more air to pass to give increased idling while the engine is cold. It can become dirty and sticky resulting in erratic idling. Cleaning can help but ultimately it will require replacing to ensure reliability! The tightening torque of this component is 12lbs ft. This idle stepper motor comes with set up instruction sheet. This is a high quality OE replacement part manufactured in America.

    Typical delivery times outside of the UK are between 5 and 21 days but are subject to customs clearance and local delivery facilities.

    Our standard Delivery outside the UK for smaller items is Royal Mail. For items over 2kg we use FedEx Express.

    Our database knows the weight of every part listed on our website, so in the majority of cases automatic delivery options can be chosen at the checkout. Unfortunately, penalties will be imposed by all dlivery companies if a parcel is particularly large in size compared to its weight, this is commonly known as “voluming out”. This means that sometimes we are unable to accurately quote delivery for orders until we have packed the parcel and confirmed the delivery cost.
