Classic Car Parts Specialist
We are looking for a Classic Car Parts Specialist to join our growing team. The role will focus on the sale of classic parts and spares. As part of a small and experienced team, you will be responsible for taking the lead on all aspects of customer service, handling phone and email enquiries. You will work closely with the office and warehouse team to progress orders through to despatch.
Our customers include trade customers, professional restorers as well as individual enthusiasts and you will need to use your written and verbal communication skills, technical awareness and enthusiasm to learn to help them identify and purchase the parts they need.

Our Car Parts Specialists play a key role in ensuring that our product range delivers our customers exactly what they need. If you are knowledgeable about car parts (particularly classic cars), have great analytical skills and a positive outlook we would love to hear from you.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / ACTIVITIES:
This position includes the following key responsibilities:
- Providing a high level of customer service to our many valued customers worldwide.
- Helping customers identify the correct part for their needs – supplying technical, price and shipping information as required.
- Processing customer telephone, email and website orders – dealing with queries, raising invoices and ensuring timely despatch.
- Reaching out to prospective new customers.
- Providing quotations on request, following up with customers to maximise conversion to orders.
- Assistance with the management of product and stock information on company computer systems
- Occasional attendance at car shows and events if required
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
A knowledge of vehicle parts and automobiles, ideally British Classic cars.
Ability to prioritise workload.
Adaptability.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication skills – written and oral – at all levels
Proactive and Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision once trained.
Strong administrative and problem-solving skills
Ability to work as part of a team and with other departments.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
Research and Analysis skills
Ability to work flexible hours as required.
Commercial awareness and market knowledge.
